Senior SAS Administrator

Experteer Overview In this SAS Administrator role, you will support a SAS Grid-enabled EBI architecture across a complex RHEL/IIS/Windows environment, catering to a large user base. You’ll maintain and develop SAS scripts, provide consulting on analytics platforms, and ensure best practices in a cross-functional setting. You will work onsite in Charlotte, collaborating with end users and global teams to enable reliable data insights. This position offers exposure to SAS Grid, VA/Viya environments, and a strong emphasis on operational excellence and effective communication. Compensation / Benefits * SAS platform administration (SAS 9.x or Viya) * Manage SAS Grid architecture and installations * Maintain and develop RHEL scripts and scheduling * Provide SAS consulting to ~8000 end users * Identify and resolve issues; apply best practices and coding techniques * Collaborate across a diverse user base; follow documented procedures and escalate when needed * Exposure to VA or Viya environments and SAS Grid * Utilize ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira) for ticket handling Tasks * SAS Grid architecture experience * SAS 9.x or Viya administration * UNIX/Linux command line familiarity * Strong attention to detail * Good communication and ticket-handling skills * Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira) * Basic scripting knowledge (Shell, Python) * Experience with various data sources (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Hadoop, etc.) * Ability to work across users with varying expertise Key requirements * Paid time off (Vacation 12-25 days) * Medical, dental, and vision coverage * Retirement savings plans (401(k), RRSP) * Life and disability insurance * Employee assistance programs * Other local policy benefits
