Lead Enterprise Architect - TOP SECRET Clearance

Experteer Overview As Lead Enterprise Architect, you will guide the client’s network, cloud, application, and enterprise technology strategy to deliver secure, scalable solutions. You’ll translate business needs into architecture while mentoring teams and shaping roadmaps. You’ll work with government stakeholders to define requirements and evaluate new technologies, contributing to mission-focused outcomes. This role combines leadership with hands-on engineering depth to drive secure, interoperable designs and architectural standards. Compensation / Benefits * Lead development and maintenance of enterprise technology strategy, reference patterns, and architectural roadmaps * Collaborate with government stakeholders to capture business, functional, and technical requirements * Direct network, cloud, and application architecture efforts supporting the client’s enterprise environment and mission objectives * Develop or support business cases, ROI analyses, and technology evaluations for new services * Guide the creation and review of System Design Documents, Detailed Design Documents, and technical requirements * Ensure architectures address security, scalability, resiliency, interoperability, performance, and alignment with client standards * Collaborate with cross-domain teams to resolve design issues and transition solutions to production * Apply Agile/Scrum practices to architecture initiatives and communicate recommendations to executives and engineers * Mentor architects and engineers through reviews, modernization efforts, and complex issue resolution Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience * Minimum 15 years of IT architecture and engineering experience in lieu of a degree * 5 years in network engineering and network architecture * 5 years leading enterprise or solution architecture for complex environments * 5 years in cloud architecture and hybrid/multi-cloud integration * 5 years translating requirements into architecture decisions, standards, and designs * 5 years developing business cases or ROI analyses * 5 years with Federal security, compliance expectations, and secure-by-design principles * Active Top Secret clearance with potential SCI access Key requirements * medical insurance with employer contribution * dental insurance * vision insurance * 401k with company match * paid time off * life and AD&D insurance
