Senior Architect Cloud & SaaS

Experteer Overview In this role you lead the network security architecture for cloud platforms and SaaS, shaping the architectural vision to support the business roadmap. You work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into secure, scalable designs and reusable patterns. You influence decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure secure by design principles across cloud and SaaS delivery. This role offers impact at enterprise scale and collaboration with security, cloud engineering, and product stakeholders. Compensation / Benefits * Define the architecture vision and target operating model for complex solutions * Prioritize functional and non-functional requirements into a technology backlog * Develop architecture roadmaps across Business, Application, Data, and Technology domains * Clarify architecture and assist system design to enable implementation * Lead solution design discussions and create modular, flexible architectures * Educate teams on best practices and standardization strategies * Select technology stacks and reference patterns for cloud/SaaS enablement * Define secure design patterns and reference architectures for public, private, and hybrid environments * Drive zero trust aligned access designs and secure cloud consumption * Create reusable frameworks for policy enforcement, observability, and risk management * Partner with information security, cloud engineering, and product stakeholders * Provide thought leadership and act as a mentor for engineering and security teams Tasks * 4-year degree in Computer Science or related discipline * 10+ years IT experience with 7+ years in architecture/senior engineering * 5+ years hands-on cloud architecture on at least one major public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) * Experience designing large-scale, highly available, secure platforms for mission-critical workloads * Experience in regulated environments (financial services, banking, insurance, healthcare) * Proven ability to influence architecture decisions across multiple lines of business * SaaS platform integration, vendor onboarding, lifecycle management * Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation) * Container platforms and orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift, ECS/AKS/GKE) * Cloud networking (VPC/VNet design, segmentation, private connectivity) * Experience defining reference architectures and guardrails for cloud/SaaS * Hands-on IAM (RBAC, federation, SSO) Key requirements *
