Senior Full Stack Engineer - Java, React & AWS

Experteer Overview In this Senior Software Engineer role, you will design, develop, and modernize cloud-native applications for DTCC’s Financial Risk Management platform. You’ll build scalable, high-performance solutions that empower analytical and reporting capabilities for internal and external clients. You will advance cloud modernization, boosting scalability, resiliency, and automation while working with architects, product owners, and engineering leaders. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable Java/Spring Boot applications with REST APIs and microservices * Build cloud-native solutions using AWS, OpenShift, containers, and modern deployment practices * Implement event-driven architectures with Kafka and related messaging tech * Develop high-performance APIs and distributed systems emphasizing scalability, resiliency, and security * Create automated testing frameworks for APIs, microservices, and cloud apps * Champion TDD, shift-left testing, and automation-first engineering * Integrate automated testing and release automation into CI/CD pipelines * Optimize performance and database interactions with Oracle and Snowflake * Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and code reviews * Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support engineering excellence, modernization, and platform resiliency Tasks * 6-9 years of software engineering experience developing enterprise applications * Strong expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices * Hands-on cloud-native development experience on AWS * Experience with OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployment architectures * Experience with Snowflake or large-scale data warehouse platforms; database-driven app development * Experience with Oracle, SQL development, data modeling, and query optimization * Experience with Apache Kafka, Confluent Kafka, or event-driven architectures * Experience designing automated testing frameworks and using testing tools * Experience integrating testing and quality controls into CI/CD pipelines * Experience building ReactJS-based frontend and micro frontends; SPA architectures * Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills * Experience in Agile delivery environments * Passion for modern engineering practices and continuous improvement Key requirements * competitive compensation * health and life insurance * pension / retirement benefits * paid time off and family care * flexible/hybrid work model
