Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will design, build, and operate a scalable data platform to provide trustworthy data for Operations Finance customers. You’ll work in a large, complex data warehouse environment, integrating diverse data sources to support reporting, analytics, and machine learning. Collaborating with business owners and tech leaders, you will shape data infrastructure, pipelines, and data quality components. This is an opportunity to drive data governance, automation, and scalable solutions that empower data-driven decisions. Compensation / Benefits * Interface with tech teams to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources using Python, SQL and AWS big data technologies * Design and implement complex data pipelines and engineering solutions * Collaborate with business owners, BI engineers, and developers to source new data and deliver usable datasets * Create extensible, maintainable designs with long-term vision * Improve tools and processes, scale existing solutions, and develop new solutions as needed * Explore and learn new AWS technologies to enhance capabilities and efficiencies Tasks * 7+ years of data engineering experience * Experience with data modeling, warehousing and ETL pipelines * Experience with SQL * Experience in at least one modern scripting/programming language (Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS) * Experience mentoring team members on best practices * Experience with AWS technologies (Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, IAM) and permissions Key requirements * health insurance * 401(k) matching * RSUs * paid time off * parental leave * sign-on payments
