Job description
Experteer Overview As a Data Engineer in the centralized analytics team, you will build the data backbone to power intelligent analytics and agent-driven experiences. You’ll design scalable data pipelines and a centralized AWS-native data platform, enabling measurement of success and data-driven investment decisions. Your work connects product telemetry, usage data, and business outcomes to inform product strategy and self-service analytics for thousands of AWS field teams. Compensation / Benefits * Design, build, and operate scalable ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting telemetry, usage events, and business data from multiple sources * Architect and implement a centralized data platform using AWS-native tech (Redshift, S3, Glue, Lake Formation, Lambda, Athena) as single source of truth * Develop data models linking usage signals to business outcomes (content effectiveness, field engagement, pipeline progression, revenue impact) * Support AI/ML pipelines and agentic systems, including MCP tools and natural-language data access layers * Implement data quality frameworks with automated monitoring, alerts, and validation * Create self-service data products with clear SLAs, docs, and governance * Collaborate with Applied Scientists and SDEs to provide clean data for evaluation frameworks and content scoring * Establish data contracts, lineage, and catalog metadata for discoverability and trust * Maintain on-call readiness and proactive issue resolution to protect data freshness and quality * Contribute to evolving from dashboards to agentic data systems for AI agents to query and reason over Tasks * 3+ years of data engineering experience * 3+ years in building and operating large-scale BI analytics data structures via ETL/ELT * 3+ years in data modeling for BI analytics * 3+ years of SQL experience * experience with AWS tech (Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, IAM) is preferred Key requirements * health insurance (medical, dental, vision) * 401(k) matching * paid time off * RSUs (restricted stock units) * sign-on payments * parental leave
