Experteer Overview In this role you drive environmental and hardware testing within a cross-functional team to meet program commitments. You lead lab operations, ensure compliance, and push continuous improvement in test processes. You will design and execute vibration, thermal, and other environmental tests while coordinating with engineering and manufacturing to meet schedule and quality goals. This is an onsite Goleta, CA position with a strong focus on safeguarding confidential materials and adhering to aerospace standards. Compensation / Benefits * Plan and conduct hardware tests (vibration, mechanical shock, thermal, altitude, humidity, structural testing) and perform data analysis * Design and coordinate test fixtures; create and maintain test plans, schedules, and technical reports * Collaborate with design engineering, structural analysis, manufacturing, and customers to meet technical and schedule targets * Provide lab oversight and ensure compliance with LOP, FOE, ESD policies, access control, and metrology * Safeguard proprietary materials/hardware per ITAR; support AS 9100/ISO 9001, DCMA, and safety audits * Develop corrective actions and long-range goals with program management; communicate plans * Support audits and lab evaluations; ensure safety and quality standards * Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization; adapt to variable shifts as needed Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in STEM * 5+ years of relevant experience * Experience in hardware or environmental testing (dynamic shock/vibration, climatic, structural) * Experience developing ESS vibration and thermal profiles * Experience with signal processing, data acquisition, test instrumentation, or structural testing * Experience with lab safety, 6S, and property management Key requirements * Relocation assistance * medical, dental, vision * 401(k) match * paid time off * flexible work schedules * Employee Scholar Program
