Job description

We are seeking an experienced IBM FileNet Administrator to manage, support, and maintain enterprise content management (ECM) solutions built on the IBM FileNet platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience administering IBM FileNet P8 environments, ensuring system stability, performance, security, and availability while supporting business-critical ECM applications., * Administer and maintain IBM FileNet P8 environments, including Content Engine (CE), Process Engine (PE), and IBM Content Navigator (ICN).

  • Configure, deploy, and support FileNet object stores, workflows, and document management solutions.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize platform stability.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, migrations, and environment maintenance.
  • Manage user access, security, roles, and permissions within the FileNet platform.
  • Support production incidents and work closely with infrastructure, database, and application teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain system documentation and follow operational best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience administering IBM FileNet P8 environments.
  • Strong knowledge of IBM FileNet P8, Content Engine (CE), Process Engine (PE), and IBM Content Navigator (ICN).
  • Experience with FileNet installation, configuration, upgrades, and administration.
  • Familiarity with application servers (WebSphere or WebLogic) and Windows/Linux environments.
  • Experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2 databases.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

<>Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with IBM Case Manager or Business Automation Workflow (BAW).
  • Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Shell, or Jython) and automation.
  • Basic knowledge of Java and REST APIs is a plus.
