Systems Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will enable data-driven decisions by building Power BI reports, QuickBase apps, and supporting SAP readiness. You’ll work to streamline processes across Lean ERP, SharePoint, and other data sources, improving manufacturing efficiency. You’ll collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to translate operational needs into scalable system designs, driving operational excellence in Sandvik’s Rotary Drilling division. This is a chance to shape how data powers on-site decision making and continuous improvement. Compensation / Benefits * Collect data from diverse sources (Lean ERP, SharePoint, QuickBase, Sales Force) and from other datasets * Integrate systems to streamline business processes * Support SAP preparation and on-site implementation * Manage metadata and assess data quality * Handle confidential information responsibly * Create mechanisms for exploring structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data * Commission and decommission datasets * Define new data collection techniques and identify patterns * Generate actionable insights for management * Collaborate with management to prioritize information needs * Analyze data trends to improve manufacturing efficiency * Create Power BI reports, dashboards, and apps for management * Develop QuickBase apps and documentation and deploy them * Build automations for internal processes * Translate operational requirements into system design decisions * Support change management, training, and stabilization * Ensure the system enhances shop floor execution Tasks * 6-10 years of systems experience with hands-on ERP or digital transformation * Strong understanding of ERP, production planning, inventory management, supply chain and financial flows * Hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, reporting, governance), Low-code platforms (Quick Base or similar) * Data migration and system integration (SAP) experience * Proven ability to identify process improvements from ERP data * SAP certification is a plus * Power BI certification is preferred * QuickBase certification is preferred * Analytical mindset and ability to work independently with executive-level accountability * Strong communication skills across IT, operations, and leadership * Experience leading ERP implementation, preferably SAP in manufacturing Key requirements * Health care coverage start 30 days after hire * Paid vacation with rollover * Paid parental leave * 401(k) with 5% contribution and 50% match * Tuition reimbursement and professional development * Diverse, inclusive workplace
