Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will drive AI-enabled claims automation within the Claims Global Claims Operations team, leveraging modern cloud technologies and DevOps practices. You will build scalable backend services and AI-assisted workflows, while shaping architecture and governance for production AI solutions. You’ll collaborate across product, AI, and business teams to translate requirements into robust, secure systems on AWS. This position offers hands-on impact in transforming healthcare technology and operations. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise-grade applications for AI-assisted claims workflows * Build high-performance backend services and APIs and orchestrate AI-driven processes * Develop frontend applications using React.js and modern JS patterns * Lead design discussions, code reviews, and technical solutioning sessions * Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices * Contribute to architecture governance, technology strategy, and cross-functional delivery * Architect, deploy, and operate applications on AWS (Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Aurora, Bedrock, SageMaker) * Design event-driven, microservices architectures for AI workloads and implement IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation) * Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies * Adopt DevOps and LLMOps practices for model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management * Develop APIs and services for document ingestion, knowledge management, vector search, and workflow execution * Design and optimize SQL/NoSQL, vector databases, knowledge graphs, and semantic search * Enable integration with enterprise systems, claims platforms, and external healthcare services * Support data validation, monitoring, and governance for AI solutions * Design and deploy AI-powered solutions addressing complex business challenges with responsible AI * Collaborate with product managers, architects, AI engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a related field * 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience * 5+ years applying software engineering principles and design patterns at scale * 5+ years Python development with RESTful APIs and microservices * 4+ years React.js and modern frontend frameworks * 4+ years AWS cloud platform experience (compute, storage, networking, IAM, monitoring, security) * 3+ years building and managing CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps * 3+ years designing distributed, event-driven enterprise applications * 2+ years integrating AI/ML models or GenAI into production apps * 2+ years leading technical discussions and cross-functional collaboration Key requirements * comprehensive benefits package * incentive and recognition programs * equity stock purchase * 401(k) contribution
