SAP BTP & AI Developer and Solution Architect

Experteer Overview In this role you will design and deliver SAP BTP-based solutions that align with Hunt’s digital transformation and AI strategy. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders to turn requirements into scalable, secure architectures and CAP-based applications, while shaping AI-enabled workflows and developer enablement. You’ll blend hands-on development with architectural oversight to accelerate delivery and ensure governance. This role offers impact across SAP BTP services, AI accelerators, and MCP connectivity in a fast-paced enterprise setting. You will be at the forefront of SAP BTP and AI integration, driving practical, value-focused solutions. Compensation / Benefits * Contribute to solution architecture for SAP BTP services (CAP model, Joule AI, SAP AI Core/AI Launchpad) and produce architectural blueprints, reference architectures, integration patterns, and technical documentation * Develop within the SAP BTP CAP model framework, building patterns, component libraries and reusable templates for consistent CAP-based delivery * Leverage AI development accelerators (Anthropic Claude, SAP Joule, GitHub Copilot) to speed up design, code generation, testing and documentation; support teams adopting AI-powered workflows * Design and develop MCP connectivity between SAP systems, AI agents and third-party services with reusable templates and best practices * Prototype and develop AI/ML solutions using SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad, Generative AI Hub and third-party AI services (Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude) and integrate SAP Joule into enterprise processes * Engage internal clients to capture requirements, participate in design/configuration/testing/deployment, and deliver artifacts such as architecture decisions, design documents, PoCs and runbooks * Apply governance, security, and data privacy controls for AI-enabled CAP solutions; maintain procedures and stay aligned with SAP BTP AI roadmap * Perform additional duties as assigned Tasks * Hands-on experience with SAP BTP services (Cloud Foundry and/or Kyma) and CAP model development * Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js, Python, Java, or ABAP for BTP extension development and AI service integration * Experience using AI development tools (Anthropic Claude, GitHub Copilot, SAP Joule) for code generation, design, documentation and testing * Preferred experience with SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad, Generative AI Hub and/or third-party AI platforms (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Anthropic Claude) * Familiarity with MCP and AI agent-to-system integration concepts; hands-on MCP server development is a plus * Strong understanding of event-driven architecture, API-first design and enterprise integration standards (OData, REST, IDoc, BAPI, RFC) * Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining designs to technical and business audiences * SAP BTP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP BTP) preferred * Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline * Minimum of two years of experience in SAP BTP development, cloud app development, or solution architecture * Experience with AI tools (Claude, Copilot, Joule) in professional contexts preferred Key requirements * 401K - 12% employer contribution * Hybrid work options * PTO 5-8 weeks annually * Medical/Dental/Vision benefits from day one * Education Assistance Program * Free parking at Dallas HQ
