Your challenge

As a Solution Architect, you support the project teams with your advanced knowledge of your industry’s OMP Solution. Your deep industry experience and supply chain insights influence the design of our high-quality supply chain solutions for our customers. You also guide our consultants and solution architects throughout the entire project.

You Are Responsible For

  • Applying your industry solution knowledge to drive the technical realization of our projects in close collaboration with the project’s solution architect.
  • Guiding the project team throughout the entire project life cycle.
  • Conducting design sessions with the customer to understand their planning challenges and to map them with the industry solution.
  • Providing expert support during the implementation phase, from start to finish, based on your advanced industry solution knowledge. This is done together with the customer’s project team.
  • Supporting the industry solution and product development teams by gathering ideas from customer implementation projects.
  • Leading senior consultants and working closely with project managers to guard scope, budgets, timelines, etc.
  • Building customer relationships and adding consistent value.
  • Advising and educating customers on best practices.

Although you’ll be visiting customers regularly (about 20% of your time), you won’t be outsourced. In this way, you remain rooted in our team of experts and consultants.

Your team

As a Solution Architect, you’ll join our Industry team, as part of our Customer Solution organization. The Industry team realizes the targets and strategies set in the industry business plans together with the Commercial and Delivery teams. The Industry team guides and supports the Commercial and Delivery teams with industry-specific commercial expertise, advice, and solutions.

About You

Essential talents and qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills, preferably complemented with a Master’s in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or similar.
  • More than 7 years’ experience in implementing supply chain planning software.
  • Industry knowledge in one of our key industry sectors.
  • In depth supply chain planning expertise in one or more of our target industries.
  • 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing advanced planning solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience in coaching, managing, and guiding teams through solution delivery transformation.
  • A strong affinity for IT as you need to be willing to learn an entirely new software package.
  • Basic programming skills.
  • The flexibility to travel.
  • Fluent in English.
  • A passion for working in a multinational customer-driven environment.
  • A friendly and open attitude.
  • Team-player in a global context.
