Job description

  • Engineering and maintaining the BMC Helix ITSM platform and its configuration management database
  • Keeping the CMDB accurate: data model, relationships, reconciliation and the health of the records themselves
  • Supporting incident, problem, change and service request processes as the platform owner rather than as a user
  • Working with the service owners on continuous service improvement
  • Documenting what you build to a standard that survives a handover

Requirements

  • Real BMC Helix ITSM engineering experience, not administration alongside another role
  • Solid CMDB and configuration management practice
  • ITIL grounding, and ideally the certification to go with it
  • The professional certifications the requirement asks for, BMC Helix and ITIL among them, Practical detail
  • Contract engagement, initial phase of six to twelve months
  • An active security clearance is required for this role

About the company

Five engineers, one platform, and an alliance headquarters that runs its IT service management on it.

You will engineer the BMC Helix ITSM and CMDB platform at the alliance headquarters in Brussels, as part of a dedicated capacity team.
