Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

• Knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, S3, Cloud9, etc.).
• Experience with cloud-based load testing solutions, such as Distributed Load Testing on AWS (DLTA).
• Analyze business requirements and identify test scenarios.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and developers to improve user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Create and maintain BDD test cases using Gherkin.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Execute functional, non-functional, performance, and API testing.
• Design and run performance and load tests to validate software stability and scalability.
• Manage defect tracking, test analysis, reporting, and quality metrics.
• Validate APIs and integrations across distributed systems.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing processes.
• Research and implement new testing tools, techniques, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation or Software Testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Cucumber.
• Experience with performance testing using tools such as JMeter or Grafana k6.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Understanding of SQL and database validation.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated testing pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Professional level of English and Spanish (mandatory).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Autonomous, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Barcelona.
