Job description
Founding infrastructure hire
You own multi-cloud orchestration, HPC integrations, and the compute routing logic that sits at the core of the product. No legacy systems. Full ownership from day one., * You make core platform decisions with direct input from the founder
- You hold real equity in a startup at pre-seed
- You work on problems most cloud engineers never touch: hybrid HPC/cloud routing, burst provisioning, reproducible scientific execution environments
Requirements
- Cloud infrastructure at production scale (AWS and Scaleway a strong plus)
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or equivalent
- Docker and containerized workloads
- Linux, networking, distributed systems fundamentals
- CI/CD and observability
- Security and reliability as first-class concerns, * Kubernetes / GPU workloads
- HPC schedulers (SLURM, PBS…)
- Platform engineering
- Scientific or research computing environments
- A passion for tinkering with home-made servers
