Job description

Founding infrastructure hire

You own multi-cloud orchestration, HPC integrations, and the compute routing logic that sits at the core of the product. No legacy systems. Full ownership from day one., * You make core platform decisions with direct input from the founder

  • You hold real equity in a startup at pre-seed
  • You work on problems most cloud engineers never touch: hybrid HPC/cloud routing, burst provisioning, reproducible scientific execution environments

Requirements

  • Cloud infrastructure at production scale (AWS and Scaleway a strong plus)
  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or equivalent
  • Docker and containerized workloads
  • Linux, networking, distributed systems fundamentals
  • CI/CD and observability
  • Security and reliability as first-class concerns, * Kubernetes / GPU workloads
  • HPC schedulers (SLURM, PBS…)
  • Platform engineering
  • Scientific or research computing environments
  • A passion for tinkering with home-made servers

About the company

Temple Compute is a deep-tech company founded by Barcelona Supercomputing Center ex-researchers. Our platform lets biotech teams, materials scientists, and AI researchers run complex simulation workflows without ever touching a cluster config file. Auto-provisioned HPC or cloud.
