Job description

As a solution architect, you design and safeguard the technical foundation behind data-driven marketing use cases. You translate business and marketing needs into clear, scalable solutions across CRM, customer data platforms, marketing automation, analytics, data warehouses and cloud infrastructure.

You work in complex environments with stakholders across teams, parallel initiatives and changing priorities. Your role is to dive into the current MarTech & Customer Data architecture of an organisation, craft the to-be architecture vision and align all involved disciplines to work towards that blueprint. Ensuring every component evolves in a consistent and manageable way.

Define thetarget architecture

You define the target architecture and technical roadmap that supports marketing, data and analytics use cases. This includes how CRM, CDP, data warehouse, activation tools and reporting layers work together., You challenge implementation decisions that impact data quality, scalability or maintainability. You help teams manage technical and data-related debt in a controlled and pragmatic way., You align business, data and technical teams around a shared architectural direction. You structure discussions, clarify ownership and support decision-making across teams and stakeholders., You ensure the data warehouse and analytics layer support reporting, insights and activation needs. You help teams use data consistently across dashboards, campaigns and operational workflows.

You help organisations adapt their data platforms to new technical and regulatory constraints. You ensure data collection, data warehouse and activation layers continue to work together in a consistent way.

Requirements

You have a solid background in marketing technology, and you’re interested in working at the intersection of business, data and technology. You’ve built experience with MarTech and data setups in real-life environments and are eager to deepen that experience at an architectural level.

You understand how tools like web analytics platforms, tag management systems, CDPs, consent solutions and marketing automation tools work together. You’re able to think beyond individual tools and are developing a broader view on architecture, trade-offs and long-term impact.

You enjoy advising organisations, asking the right questions and translating business needs into clear, pragmatic solutions. You can explain technical topics in plain language and feel comfortable working with both technical specialists and business stakeholders.

Whether you already have experience in an architectural role or are ready to take that next step, you’re curious, structured in your thinking and keen to keep learning.

This role requires you to be based in Belgium or the Netherlands, as you’ll work in a hybrid setup: collaborating with colleagues in the office, travelling to clients, and doing focused work from your home office.

You speak Dutch and English fluently; knowledge of other languages is a plus., * Experience with digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Snowplow, Piwik, …).

  • Experience with tag management solutions (GTM, Launch, Tealium, …).
  • Experience with CRM and/or marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience with customer data platforms (Adobe, Salesforce, Segment, Meiro, Bloomreach, Hightouch, …).
  • Experience with reporting tools (Google Cloud, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, …).
  • Experience in public speaking and/or blogging.

Benefits & conditions

  • An attractive salary based on your experience and contributions to the team.
  • Some interesting benefits such as a company car with fuel card, MacBook Pro, hospitalisation insurance, pension plan, etc.
  • Flexible working hours: arrange your day as it suits you best.
  • A personal development trajectory with both in-house training and a budget for conferences and external training or workshops.
  • Contribute actively to technology & innovation vision within Stitchd
  • Offices in The Netherlands (Utrecht) and Belgium (Kontich & Merelbeke).
  • Challenging projects for interesting Belgian, Dutch and international companies.
  • Contract of indefinite duration.

At Stitchd, you’ll work on complex projects for well-known brands, alongside a small but highly experienced team of data professionals. We strongly believe in sharing knowledge, as it helps everyone grow faster. “The MarTech landscape is increasingly complex. I help organisations cut through that complexity and make the right architectural choices.”
