SAP Enterprise Architect / SAP Strategy Lead

• Define and maintain the organization’s SAP Enterprise Architecture strategy, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA.
• Act as the trusted advisor to CIOs, IT leadership, and business stakeholders on SAP-related strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain SAP roadmaps aligned with business objectives, digital transformation programs, and technology investment plans.
• Assess and challenge architecture proposals, designs, and recommendations provided by SAP implementation and consulting partners.
• Ensure SAP solutions fit within the broader enterprise architecture landscape.
• Lead architecture governance and facilitate key design decision-making forums.
• Provide guidance on SAP platform modernization, cloud strategy, integration architecture, and future-state operating models.
• Evaluate business cases, investment opportunities, and technology risks related to SAP programs.
• Serve as the bridge between business leadership, IT leadership, and external partners to ensure successful strategic outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to optimize SAP investments, simplify architecture, and improve business value realization.

We are seeking an experienced SAP Enterprise Architect / SAP Strategy Lead (m/v/x) to drive SAP architecture decisions, provide strategic technology guidance, and ensure alignment between business objectives and the SAP landscape. This role requires a senior-level professional with extensive SAP expertise who can operate at both executive and architectural levels, challenging implementation partners and guiding long-term investment decisions. This is a four-year engagement, which can be undertaken on a full-time or part-time basis., * 10-15+ years of SAP experience, including significant exposure to complex enterprise environments.

• Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA architecture and transformation programs.
• Strong background in Enterprise Architecture, beyond hands-on implementation activities.
• Demonstrated ability to challenge and manage large SAP system integrators and implementation partners.
• Experience defining multi-year SAP roadmaps and supporting strategic investment decisions.
• Strong understanding of SAP ecosystem capabilities, integrations, governance, security, and best practices.
• Experience working within large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business-focused recommendations.
