Job description

  • Collaborate across electronics, mechanical design, and software teams.
  • Participate in daily Scrum stand-ups.
  • Support sprint planning, reviews, priority management, and Agile retrospectives.
  • Create firmware for new and existing products.
  • Write efficient, high-quality, maintainable code and conduct code reviews.
  • Drive product development from concept and deployment through to future maintenance.
  • Collaborate internally and externally to support efficient project delivery.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in embedded firmware development using C and C++.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
  • Experience with embedded system architecture design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Experience working on complex projects and finding solutions using advanced robotic systems.
  • Knowledge of network interfaces and protocols including SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232, RS485, Ethernet, and CAN-bus.
  • Understanding of electronic PCB design.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality products.
  • Experience with bare-metal real-time systems and/or real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Experience with MBED and STM32 microcontrollers.
  • Interest in low-level motor control and PID.
  • Ability to reliably commute to London SE10.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom.
  • At least 2 years of embedded experience.
