Senior Data Scientist, Game Analytics

Experteer Overview In this role you will design and deliver analytics solutions for key game and business questions, using advanced methods and ML to drive insights. You will join the Rockstar Analytics team, partnering across departments to build data pipelines, models, reports, and data-driven products. You will translate complex analyses into impactful stories that inform game design and strategy. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners to understand gameplay flows and identify opportunities that enhance player experiences. Pay / Benefits * Design and deliver data analytics solutions addressing critical game and business questions using ML and advanced analytics * Provide high-quality insights aligned with strategic initiatives and design intents * Tell impactfule stories with data through reports and presentations * Deeply understand gameplay flows to inform game data analysis * Lead analytic value-add projects and experiments aligned with long-term strategy * Perform proactive analyses and predictive modeling to uncover opportunities * Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, scientists, governance analysts, and stakeholders to resolve bottlenecks * Mentor and develop junior team members Tasks * 5+ years in a data science role * Production-stable code experience (preferably PySpark) and deploying models/data pipelines to production * Proficiency in probability, distributions, Bayesian statistics, and causal inference * Knowledge of ML techniques including clustering, gradient boosting, neural networks, regression * Excellent SQL and Python for ML/statistical analysis * Experience with large complex datasets and BI dashboards (Tableau preferred) * Strong data storytelling and visualization skills for diverse stakeholders * Strong problem-solving and business-technical alignment * Passion for video games and industry knowledge Key requirements *
