Job description

As a Senior .NET AI Developer, you will lead the development of cloud-native, event-driven applications while driving AI-assisted software engineering practices across the SDLC. You will leverage .NET, Kafka, cloud technologies, and Generative AI tools to build scalable, resilient, and intelligent solutions for high-volume enterprise environments., * Lead the design and development of scalable .NET-based, event-driven applications and services.

  • Build and modernize APIs, microservices, and distributed application platforms.
  • Develop cloud-native solutions using containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD practices.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver business solutions.
  • Leverage GenAI tools to accelerate development, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Establish AI-assisted development standards, workflows, and engineering best practices.
  • Drive application quality through code reviews, automated testing, and performance optimization.
  • Support modernization initiatives from legacy systems to distributed cloud-native architectures.
  • Mentor developers on .NET engineering, distributed systems, and AI-enabled development practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience developing .NET, cloud-based, and web services applications in high-availability environments.
  • Strong expertise with .NET, Kafka, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native design.
  • 6+ years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or PCF.
  • Hands-on experience with IBM MQ, Kafka, Splunk, JSON/XML, caching, observability, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with MongoDB, Aerospike, PostgreSQL, or similar relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience using GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, GPT, Gemini, or similar platforms.
  • 2+ years of experience with AI/ML implementations, AI-assisted engineering practices, or production AI solutions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, Agile, Jira/Confluence, system modernization, and financial services experience preferred.
