Job description

This individual will provide dedicated administrative support to the Vice President while managing the day-to-day operations of the Farmington Hills office. Responsibilities include managing executive calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating domestic and international travel, preparing presentations and reports, tracking action items, and handling confidential communications. They will serve as the primary point of contact for office operations, coordinating facility needs, vendors, office supplies, and employee onboarding logistics. The role will also support customer visits, executive briefings, leadership reviews, and employee engagement events, while partnering with global teams to coordinate meetings, communications, and leadership activities across multiple regions

Requirements

5+ years supporting senior executives (Director, VP, or higher)

  • Strong calendar management, travel coordination, and executive scheduling experience

  • Experience preparing presentations, reports, meeting materials, and executive correspondence

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, and SharePoint

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Experience coordinating meetings across multiple time zones and stakeholders Plusses

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience supporting a Vice President or executive leadership team

  • Background in automotive, engineering, technology, consulting, or professional services environments

  • SAP or ERP system experience

  • Experience coordinating customer visits, executive briefings, and leadership events

Experience working with global teams across North America, Europe, India, and Mexico

Benefits & conditions

$35/hr to $40/hr

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
