  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams throughout discovery, architecture planning, and implementation, providing clear technical guidance and solution recommendations.
  • Support the transition from discovery into full-scale platform implementation, contributing hands-on engineering expertise throughout delivery., * Opportunity to lead the architecture and development of a modern Microsoft Azure and Fabric data platform.
  • High level of ownership with direct influence on enterprise data strategy and technology decisions.
  • Potential to transition from an initial part-time discovery phase into a full-time implementation engagement.
  • Exposure to modern cloud technologies, enterprise data architecture, and large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborative international environment with close interaction between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, cloud data platforms, or related fields.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, and Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse and Warehouse capabilities.
  • Advanced SQL/T-SQL skills combined with experience using Python and/or PySpark for data engineering workloads.
  • Proven experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines, medallion architectures, dimensional models, and enterprise data integration solutions.
  • Strong Power BI expertise, including DAX, semantic models, tabular modeling, and data visualization best practices.
  • Experience using Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines within modern data engineering environments.
  • Exposure to solution architecture, discovery workshops, technical assessments, platform design, or technology selection.
