Job description

With a team of product and IT experts, the future position holder will be responsible for further developing beyonnex’s Enterprise-IoT-Suite and services to ensure a stable and scalable technological foundation for the strategic development of the group of companies. In addition, the following tasks will be part of your position

  • Together with your team, you develop backend services to monitor and control millions of IoT devices (sensors and actors).
  • Your solutions help to significantly reduce heating costs and the CO2 footprint of residential and commercial buildings.
  • You will be involved in every part of the software engineering process and in the lifecycle of the services that your team is building - requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, operations and improving software based on user feedback and usage metrics.
  • You will work with a state of the art AI driven software development process which we constantly evolve.
  • You will work closely with our product experts and product owners to build the future of smart energy.

Requirements

  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in clear and concise way (in English - C1 or better)
  • At least 3 years practical experience working as a Software Developer
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields or comparable education and experience
  • Proficiency in development with Kotlin, Java or similar (JVM) languages

Optionals, but nice to have:

  • Experience with AI driven/agentic software development processes and tools
  • Proficiency with observability and monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus etc
  • Experience working with AWS
  • Experience with Kafka or event-based systems
  • Experience with AWS IoT Core and LoRaWan is a plus
