Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the enterprise architecture for CBRND and the Biosurveillance Information Platform, enabling real-time data integration across DoD and partner systems. You will translate capability needs into architectural products, data strategies, and actionable guidance for software teams. This hands-on leadership position requires deep expertise in cloud-native data platforms, system integration, and secure data management. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders to align architecture with DoD cybersecurity and Zero Trust requirements, shaping data-driven capabilities across multi-domain environments. This is a high-impact opportunity to advance DoD biosurveillance, R Compensation / Benefits * Develop and maintain DoDAF v2.0 and UAF architecture products for the Biosurveillance Information Platform * Map operational, systems, and technical views to show data source integration * Design end-to-end data ingestion pipelines from DoD, intelligence, federal, and open data sources * Define enterprise data architecture standards, interfaces, and guidance for vendors * Create scalable integration strategies to onboard new data sources without silos * Model logical and physical data structures for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data * Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, cybersecurity specialists, and government stakeholders * Support cloud-native architecture using Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform * Develop data governance standards for interoperability, metadata, and information quality * Ensure solutions meet DoD cybersecurity, Zero Trust, and compliance requirements * Support acquisition planning, design reviews, and vendor oversight * Provide architectural leadership for AI/ML initiatives through scalable data design Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a technical field * 12+ years in enterprise architecture, systems engineering, or related information systems * Extensive experience with DoDAF v2.0 in DoD programs * Proven data architecture design across multi-domain environments * Experience integrating heterogeneous government data sources * Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data warehousing, and data modeling * Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration strategies * Strong SQL skills * Experience with architectural tools such as Cameo, MagicDraw, Sparx EA * Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform * Understanding of APIs and enterprise integration patterns * Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies and Zero Trust * Excellent communication and technical leadership * Active Secret security clearance Key requirements * competitive salary * comprehensive health plan including dental and vision * company-paid life and disability insurance * 401(k) plan with company match * educational reimbursement program
