Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect Lead to lead the architecture, design, development, and modernization of a large-scale enterprise Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solution. This hands-on role requires deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Azure, AI technologies, and enterprise solution architecture while driving cloud modernization, security, governance, and continuous platform improvements.

As the Solution Architect Lead, you will serve as the technical authority for enterprise platform architecture, lead Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementations, design Azure cloud solutions, oversee AI-enabled capabilities, establish security and governance standards, and guide technical teams throughout the solution lifecycle, * Lead the architecture, design, and modernization of enterprise Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.

  • Design and maintain Dataverse data models, solution architecture, environment strategies, and integration frameworks.
  • Develop model-driven applications, Power Platform solutions, custom APIs, PCF controls, plug-ins, and client-side extensions.
  • Establish enterprise architecture standards, design patterns, naming conventions, and technical governance.
  • Design secure cross-cloud architectures integrating Microsoft Government Community Cloud (GCC) and Azure commercial services.
  • Implement Azure identity management, managed identities, service principals, Key Vault, private networking, and API gateway solutions.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI-powered solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, and Copilot Studio.
  • Design Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agent orchestration, prompt engineering, AI evaluation, and responsible AI solutions.
  • Define enterprise security architecture, access controls, compliance standards, and secure SDLC practices.
  • Support vulnerability remediation, penetration testing, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
  • Lead Azure DevOps CI/CD implementation, release management, automated deployments, and DevOps best practices.
  • Design enterprise integrations with Azure services, Dataverse, APIs, and external business systems.
  • Drive performance optimization, platform reliability, capacity planning, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Develop architecture documentation, technical roadmaps, decision records, and executive-level presentations.
  • Mentor architects, developers, and technical teams while promoting engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related technical field.
  • 16+ years of progressive IT experience.
  • 8+ years of enterprise or solution architecture experience supporting mission-critical systems.
  • 7+ years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and Power Platform experience.
  • Experience leading multiple end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation lifecycles.
  • Strong experience designing Azure cloud architectures and enterprise integrations.
  • Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or Copilot Studio.
  • Hands-on experience with C#/.NET plug-ins, custom APIs, PCF Controls, Power Fx, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Experience implementing Power Platform ALM, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security, NIST-based secure architecture, and regulated environments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, * Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600).
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service (MB-230).
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102).
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500).
  • TOGAF Certification.
  • CISSP or CCSP Certification.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, or Power BI.
  • Experience with Government Cloud (GCCC High/Azure Government).
  • Experience with Power Pages, portal architecture, and enterprise security.
  • Experience supporting Health and Human Services or other large public-sector enterprise systems.
