IT SOX Consultant

• Execute design and operating effectiveness testing of IT General Controls (ITGC) across the technology estate.
• Audit logical access, user provisioning, and termination processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate technical change management and computer operations workflows for SOX adherence.
• Construct comprehensive technical workpapers and evidence repositories for internal and external review.
• Facilitate control walkthroughs and technical discovery sessions with system and application owners.
• Validate the integrity and relevance of technical evidence provided for assigned control environments.
• Orchestrate remediation and retesting activities to address identified technical control deficiencies.

• 2 or more years of professional experience in IT SOX compliance, IT audit, or technology risk management.
• Proficiency in IT General Controls (ITGC) frameworks and technical control design evaluation.
• Experience with logical access, change management, and computer operations control testing.
• Experience in executing design and operating effectiveness assessments for enterprise systems.
• Experience with authoring audit-ready workpapers and maintaining detailed technical evidence trails.
• Experience in leading control walkthroughs and evaluating technical evidence for accuracy and completeness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with control owners and auditors.
