Job description

CIMA Universidad de Navarra is seeking to recruit a professional specialized in Artificial Intelligence in Biomedicine to join its Scientific Management Team .Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the scientific needs of research groups and propose AI-based solutions.Advise on the selection and application of machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI models.Foster interdisciplinary projects involving biomedical, clinical, and computational researchers.Support the preparation and writing of proposals for national and international competitive funding calls.Identify opportunities for funding, collaboration, and the development of new research projects.Promote synergies among CIMA research groups and other areas of the University of Navarra.Contribute to the institutional strategy for artificial intelligence applied to biomedicine.RequirementsPhD or equivalent professional experience in Artificial Intelligence, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.Demonstrated experience in applying AI methodologies to biomedical challenges.Ability to understand complex scientific problems and translate them into feasible computational strategies.Up-to-date knowledge of AI methodologies and models.Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.Excellent communication skills, scientific writing abilities, and experience working in interdisciplinary environments.Initiative, autonomy, and the ability to drive new collaborations and research projects.Previous experience in scientific management, research proposal development, competitive funding acquisition, and multidisciplinary research projects will be considered an asset.The selected candidate will join an international and collaborative scientific environment, with the opportunity to contribute to the development of high-impact projects at the intersection of artificial intelligence, biomedical research, and precision medicine .This position forms part of the talent attraction initiatives outlined in our Strategic Research Plan and is funded through the Severo Ochoa Centres of Excellence Programme (CEX -S).The aim of this initiative is to strengthen the Centre’s capabilities and further consolidate its international scientific leadership.We are committed to attracting, developing and retaining talented individuals who wish to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and to the service of society.We believe that research excellence is enriched by the diversity of experiences, perspectives, and personal and professional backgrounds.We therefore encourage applications from all qualified candidates who share our commitment to scientific excellence, the pursuit of knowledge, and the generation of societal impact.#J-*****-Ljbffr
