Network Security Engineer, Senior

Experteer Overview As a Senior Network Security Engineer at Sentinel Technologies, you design, implement, and support secure, scalable network solutions for mid-to-enterprise clients. You will work hands-on with Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortinet technologies, and act as a trusted advisor to ensure highly available, secure networks. Compensation / Benefits * Design, implement, and support secure network solutions for diverse client environments * Hands-on work with Cisco routers/switches to optimize and secure networks * Deploy and manage Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortinet firewall solutions * Architect and implement large-scale network security solutions (3+ years experience) * Configure Cisco Security products (ISE, FDT, FMC, AMP, Umbrella) * Perform migrations and upgrades across network/security platforms * Implement wireless networks with Cisco WLCs in centralized and converged deployments * Work with Cisco ACI and SD-WAN (experience a plus) * Provide exceptional customer support and act as trusted advisor to clients Tasks * 8+ years of experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, and/or Fortinet solutions * Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches * 5+ years designing and implementing large-scale network security solutions * CCNP or equivalent certification or higher preferred * Experience with Cisco security products (FDT, FMC, AMP, Umbrella) * Experience migrating/upgrading diverse platforms * Familiarity with Cisco Wireless LAN controllers in traditional and converged deployments * Cisco ACI and SD-WAN experience a plus * Must have a car and valid driver’s license for travel * Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship * ACE factor - Attitude, Compassion, Enthusiasm Key requirements * Medical * Dental * Vision * 401K * Short and Long-Term Disability * Certification and hands-on training
