Cisco Network Security Engineer/ Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview As a Senior Consultant in Deloitte’s Cyber team, you design and implement Cisco security solutions to secure enterprise environments. You work across on-prem, virtual, and cloud deployments, aligning technical plans with client needs and business goals. You’ll shape security architectures and roadmaps, delivering practical, executive-ready recommendations. This role offers exposure to hybrid security ecosystems and cross-functional collaboration to drive resilient digital transformations. Compensation / Benefits * Design, deploy, and manage Cisco FTD/FMC across physical, virtual, and cloud deployments * Implement and support Cisco ISE including 802.1X NAC, device profiling, guest lifecycle, and TrustSec * Configure and tune advanced Cisco security features (IPS, malware protection, URL/DNS filtering, SSL/TLS decryption) * Deploy and integrate Cisco Secure Firewall in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) with centralized policy management * Develop client-facing security architectures and integrate Cisco platforms with SIEM and automation solutions * Deliver recommendations aligning technical requirements with compliance and business objectives * Lead projects or workstreams and provide clear guidance to others Tasks * BA/BS in a technical field * CCNP Security or CCIE Security certification * 5+ years of network security engineering with Cisco technologies * 5+ years designing/deploying Cisco FTD and FMC in enterprise settings (physical, virtual, cloud) * 5+ years designing/implementing Cisco ISE (distributed nodes, HA, patch and upgrade planning) * 3+ years ISE NAC, guest lifecycle, profiling, TrustSec, and Cisco Firepower capabilities including IPS, malware protection, URL filtering, DNS security, SSL/TLS decryption, and cloud firewall deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP) * Ability to travel up to 50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * reasonable accommodations for disabilities
