Job description
Experteer Overview As a Cloud Engineer/Architect at KPMG, you will design and implement scalable, secure Azure cloud architectures to host high-performance generative AI microservices. You will collaborate with AI/ML engineers and product managers to translate requirements into cost-efficient infrastructure and advanced auto-scaling patterns. You’ll drive architectural innovation, optimize AKS/KEDA configurations, and lead observability and governance practices. This role offers impact across a global audit practice within a culture that values integrity and development. Compensation / Benefits * Design and implement scalable, secure Azure cloud architecture for AI microservices * Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and product managers to translate requirements into robust infrastructure * Evaluate and integrate Azure services and MLOps practices to improve performance and reliability * Architect and optimize AKS and KEDA for auto-scaling and LLM usage * Mentor engineering teams on infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and cloud governance * Develop monitoring/observability strategies to ensure high availability and verifiable performance * Uphold integrity and a respectful, professional work environment Tasks * Minimum eight years in cloud architecture, solution design, and infrastructure management in enterprise settings * Master’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree required * Expert-level Azure knowledge; hands-on AKS, KEDA, Azure Service Bus, Azure AI Search * Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly preferred * Strong IaC experience; experience supporting AI/ML workloads (RAG pipelines, LLM serving) * Experience with agile methodologies and SDLC tools like Azure DevOps and Git; ability to build CI/CD pipelines * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to lead technical discussions and translate requirements Key requirements * comprehensive benefits package * medical and dental plans * vision coverage * disability and life insurance * 401(k) plans * personal well-being benefits
