Job description
- Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
- Designs hardware, software, and interface specifications.
- Tests and validates system designs to ensure operational and functional requirements are met.
- Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from an accredited STEM/ABET program.
- Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
- Familiarity with configuration management.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC 429 data buses.
- Experience with hardware auditing or audit processes.
- Willingness to support 2nd shift occasionally (3:00 PM - 12:00 AM).
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree and typically 2+ years of engineering experience, or a Master’s degree with engineering experience. Degree must be from an accredited course of study in Engineering or a related STEM discipline.
