Job description

  • Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
  • Designs hardware, software, and interface specifications.
  • Tests and validates system designs to ensure operational and functional requirements are met.
  • Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from an accredited STEM/ABET program.
  • Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
  • Familiarity with configuration management.
  • Knowledge of MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC 429 data buses.
  • Experience with hardware auditing or audit processes.
  • Willingness to support 2nd shift occasionally (3:00 PM - 12:00 AM).

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree and typically 2+ years of engineering experience, or a Master’s degree with engineering experience. Degree must be from an accredited course of study in Engineering or a related STEM discipline.
