Job description
- Oversee the electronic processing and maintenance of member eligibility records and enrollment data.
- Coordinate eligibility updates and implementation activities with clients, vendors, and internal departments.
- Serve as a primary resource for enrollment questions, issue resolution, and system support.
- Review eligibility workflows and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Prioritize and monitor daily electronic enrollment transactions to ensure timely completion.
- Partner with IT teams to test system enhancements and support new technology implementations.
- Investigate eligibility discrepancies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
- Create and update process documentation, operating procedures, and training materials.
- Provide guidance and training to staff and business partners on eligibility systems and electronic processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare operations, insurance administration, customer support, or a related office environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel functions.
- Experience working with electronic enrollment, eligibility, or data management systems.
- Familiarity with SQL, databases, or other technical tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across departments and with external clients.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining confidential information.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities while contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency.
