IT Field Technician (Traveling Technician)

Important: This is a travel-focused field technician role. The ideal candidate enjoys traveling, working independently, and getting out from behind a desk. Technicians travel Monday through Friday supporting customer sites throughout the region and are home on weekends. If you enjoy seeing new places, meeting different customers, and working hands-on with technology, this is a great opportunity., + Install and configure patient simulator systems at hospitals, universities, and training centers

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues

• Ensure systems are properly connected to customer networks and fully operational

• Diagnose and resolve Windows-based hardware and software problems

• Provide basic training and support to end users on-site

• Ability and willingness to travel throughout the workweek

• Basic IT troubleshooting experience

• Experience working in Windows 10 environments

• Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DHCP, and IP addressing

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Ability to work independently and professionally at customer locations

Nice-to-Haves

• CompTIA A+ or similar certification

• Electronics troubleshooting or repair experience

• Experience in field service, AV, telecom, low-voltage, biomedical equipment, or other hands-on technical environments

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Systems operate on Windows 10 and integrate into customer networks

• Mileage reimbursement beyond the first 30 miles traveled

• Paid travel time

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
