The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 4 assumes ownership and leads advanced and highly specialized administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. The associate assists the ADS Implementation & Support Supervisor (ADS ISS) with maintaining product files in support of remote dispensing and compliance in Hospice IPU (Inpatient Unit) settings.
Responsibilities
Enclara, is a wholly owned hospice and palliative care pharmacy business acquired by Humana in 2021. Enclara is the nation’s largest full-service pharmacy benefits manager (PBM) specifically for the hospice and palliative care sectors. Serving over 450 customers and nearly 100,000 patients nationally, Enclara works closely with hospices to reduce pharmacy costs, improve patient care and support caregivers through: digital innovations, flexible medication access, one-on-one clinical support, and excellent customer service.
Schedule : Alternating one week day shift, one week evening shift
Week 1: 9:00AM to 5:30PM EST
Week 2: 2:30PM to 11:00PM EST, Assist ADS Implementation & Support Supervisor (ADS ISS) with maintaining product files in support of remote dispensing and compliance in Hospice IPU settings., Daily support for Automated Dispensing System (ADS) clients with product questions or issues (this includes on-call rotation).
Help troubleshoot ADS communication problems between respective vendor and Tech Support.
Help ADS ISS maintain product data files and communication settings for point of use pharmacy dispensing systems.
Monitor data and settings, alert ADS ISS when discrepancies occur, coordinate resolutions with ADS ISS, RSM, and/or IT Department.
Generate and prepare reports as requested by ADS ISS.
ADS report generation for IPU staff and clients upon request.
Daily generation and review of compliance reports.
Assist ADS ISS with project plans for point-of-use pharmacy product file systems.
Assist with ADS Support for In-Patient Services Team/ Vendor when issues arise.
Assist ADS ISS with implementation preparation for onboarding clients.
Assist ADS ISS with routine tasks to maximize optimization of ADS systems.
Requirements
Ability to interact professionally and effectively communicate with multiple levels of team members within the organization as well as external vendors and clients
Effective verbal and written communication skills required
Attention to detail and ability to understand of state/federal compliance laws
Education and/or Experience:
1 year of related pharmacy technician experience
Experience in a healthcare environment preferred
Experience managing drug product files in multiple remote locations
Pyxis MS4000 and/or Pyxis ES knowledge preferred
Omnicell knowledge preferred
In-Patient Unit experience preferred
Computer Skills:
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Demonstrated general skill level in Microsoft Word, Outlook and/or PowerPoint
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
