Job description
We are seeking a 603-level Java Lead Engineer as part of the CCB Ramp/Surge initiative. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical expertise, team guidance, and stakeholder management within a fast-paced enterprise environment., * Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, guiding daily activities and delivery expectations
- Define team standards, engineering practices, and collaboration approach
- Drive design and development of scalable microservices-based applications
- Anticipate and manage cross-team dependencies to ensure timely delivery
- Partner with stakeholders to align on priorities, compliance standards, and SLAs
- Promote a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and high performance
Requirements
- 12+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
- Proven experience working with AWS cloud technologies
- Prior tech lead / team lead experience managing engineers

Strong understanding of:
- CI/CD pipelines
- Automation and DevOps practices
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Application resiliency & security
Experience working in Agile environments
Domain exposure to Financial Services / Banking systems
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, * Strong understanding of OOP principles & design patterns
- Ability to write clean, scalable, maintainable Java code

- EC2
- S3
- Lambda
Cloud-native application development experience
