Job description

A self-directed engineer who owns work end to end from discovery and design through delivery and support. You confidently prioritize and execute complex initiatives, balancing speed, quality, and long-term maintainability while engaging directly with clients and stakeholders.

  • You consistently apply software engineering best practices, designing scalable, secure, and resilient systems using modern frameworks and tooling. You write clean, well-tested, production-ready code and hold yourself and others to a high bar for quality.
  • You thrive in ambiguous environments, proactively identifying risks and opportunities, and driving solutions with minimal oversight. You are deeply invested in continuous learning and technical excellence, regularly modernizing systems and improving developer workflows.
  • You are a collaborative technical leader, mentoring teammates, sharing knowledge, influencing architectural decisions, and partnering effectively across engineering, product, and client teams to achieve organizational goals.

The Work

You will lead the design and delivery of complex features and systems, taking full ownership of outcomes. This includes architecting solutions, implementing high-quality code, and ensuring reliability, performance, and test coverage throughout the lifecycle.

  • You will proactively identify technical debt, scalability concerns, and modernization opportunities, driving improvements to frameworks, tooling, and infrastructure.
  • You will champion best practices around testing, observability, and maintainability.
  • Collaboration is core to the role. You will mentor engineers, contribute to cross-functional initiatives, and work closely with product, operations, and other departments to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • You will also engage directly with clients, clearly communicating technical concepts, progress, trade-offs, and recommendations.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
