Product Owner

Experteer Overview In this Product Owner role, you guide an Agile Scrum team to deliver value to government stakeholders and customers. You own the product backlog, define the product vision with engineering leadership, and drive successful software releases aligned with mission needs. You’ll participate in ceremonies, manage scope and velocity, and foster a collaborative environment to reduce technical debt. The position supports national security objectives within a trust-driven, flexible, learning-focused culture. Compensation / Benefits * Own and refine the product backlog with user stories and acceptance criteria to maximize value * Serve as primary liaison between government stakeholders and the Scrum team to define vision and requirements * Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Grooming, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives) * Collaborate with Scrum Master and development team to manage scope and ensure increments meet DoD / Definition of Done * Identify process improvements, reduce technical debt, and align work with business objectives * Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to provide status and guidance * Support cost reduction, knowledge capture, and issue identification to meet scope and customer needs * Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment Tasks * Active TS/SCI clearance * US citizenship required * Proven experience as Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Requirements Manager in Agile/Scrum * Ability to translate complex government workflows into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria * Strong time management and prioritization skills to meet deliverables * Familiarity with Agile lifecycle management and backlog tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) Key requirements * flexible time off * robust learning resources * healthcare * retirement benefits * continuing education * family support
