Experteer Overview In this role you drive the release and integration of door and center console components for automotive interiors. You will partner with Vehicle Engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing to meet performance, cost, weight, and investment targets. You’ll lead release, change management, and packaging within the vehicle, while supporting launch and ongoing maintenance. You shape design practices, DFMEAs, and DVP&R to ensure robust, manufacturable solutions. This is a cross-functional, globally scoped role with meaningful impact on product quality and system integration. Compensation / Benefits * Interface with Vehicle Engineering, suppliers, Purchasing, Quality and Assembly Plants to coordinate releases * Manage product performance to meet functional, cost, weight, and investment targets * Oversee product release and change management processes * Direct packaging in the vehicle environment to fit constraints * Support AQP, PSO, product launch and ongoing maintenance of carryover product * Be responsible for design practices, lessons learned, DFMEA, DVP&R, and oversee release of designated components Tasks * Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or equivalent * Minimum of 5 years in automotive interiors, floor consoles, cockpit systems, or complex plastic assemblies * Familiarity with CAD tools: NX preferred, CATIA acceptable * Experience with quality tools (root cause analysis, KT, 5-Why, Red X) * Strong understanding of injection molding, DFM/A, materials, tolerances, GD&T * Experience with DFMEA, DVP&R, APQP, PPAP deliverables * Ability to travel regularly to plants and suppliers for root cause investigations * Strong written and verbal communication, cross-functional and global collaboration Key requirements *
