Job description

The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with architect-level thinking who can own Salesforce + KBMax technical strategy, build complex CPQ and configuration logic, support enterprise integrations, and partner closely with Commercial Operations and Product teams. We are looking for someone who excels at both developing new solutions and supporting existing systems and consistently delivers stable, scalable, business-aligned solutions. The Contract, Salesforce & KBMax Developer / Solution Architect will be a key member of the Commercial IT organization responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise solutions across Salesforce and KBMax platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Salesforce platform development, CPQ processes, KBMax product configuration, enterprise integrations, analytics, reporting, and custom application development. A hands-on developer who combines deep Salesforce and KBMax technical expertise with strong business process understanding across Sales, CPQ, Pricing, Customer Experience, and Commercial Operations.

This position requires a proactive problem solver who can balance technical excellence with business needs, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and support CPQ processes across the Product and Commercial Org. The successful candidate will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing support, ensuring that Salesforce solutions align with organizational objectives and deliver measurable business value

Essential Responsibilities

Salesforce Platform Development

· Design, develop, test, deploy, and support custom Salesforce applications using:

o Apex

o Lightning Web Components (LWC)

o Visualforce

o Flows

o Platform Events

o APIs

· Configure and customize Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and related Salesforce products.

· Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

CPQ & KBMax Development

· Serve as the technical lead for KBMax configuration, quoting, and product modeling.

· Develop and maintain complex configurators, pricing logic, approval workflows, product rules, and quote generation processes.

· Partner with Commercial Operations and Product teams to support OPUS and other configurable product lines.

· Design future-state solutions supporting migration and integration strategies involving Salesforce CPQ / Revenue Cloud capabilities

Integration Development

· Design and support integrations between Salesforce, KBMax, SAP, Customer Portals, Xactly, marketing platforms, Slack, and other enterprise systems.

· Develop:

o REST APIs

o SOAP APIs

o Platform Events

o Middleware integrations

o Batch and real-time interfaces

· Ensure data integrity, scalability, security, and performance across integrated systems.

Operational Support

· Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

· Provide Level 2/Level 3 application support.

· Support release management, deployments, testing, and change management activities.

· Create and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and support procedures., · Partner with Business Intelligence teams to integrate Salesforce data with Tableau, Power BI, and enterprise analytics solutions.

Requirements

We are looking for a senior-level Salesforce Platform Developer and CPQ/KBMax Solution Architect with 5 -10+ years of hands-on Salesforce engineering experience and deep expertise across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and CPQ. This individual will bring strong technical leadership in product configuration, pricing logic, quoting workflows, and enterprise integrations, paired with a solid understanding of commercial business processes. They will have experience supporting complex configurable product lines and delivering scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that drive measurable commercial impact., · 5–10+ years of Salesforce development experience.

· 3+ years of experience with Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, or equivalent quoting platforms.

· 3+ years of KBMax development and configuration experience preferred.

· Experience supporting commercial, sales, quoting, pricing, and customer-facing business processes.

· Experience with enterprise integration architecture and middleware solutions.

Preferred skills

Reporting & Analytics

· Design and maintain operational and executive dashboards.

· Develop Salesforce reports and analytics supporting:

o Pipeline management
