A prominent national nonprofit organization is seeking a remote Salesforce Manager to guide the strategic direction, governance, and enhancement of their enterprise CRM platforms. responsibilities:

  • Serve as the platform owner for Salesforce, accountable for day-to-day health and long-term direction.
  • Build and maintain platform roadmaps for core Salesforce functionality, Marketing Cloud, and Grant Management, aligning emerging technology with business needs and prioritizing incoming requests for value and impact.
  • Create solution designs for new Salesforce requests, partnering with stakeholders to shape requirements and negotiate toward simple, scalable, maintainable architectures that reduce platform complexity and long-term support burden.
  • Enforce Salesforce architecture and implementation standards, ensuring all changes comply with established best practices and maintainability requirements through design reviews and oversight of delivery.
  • Manage staff, assign tasks, review performance, and lead team meetings.
  • Ensure work aligns with IT priorities and supports overall IT initiatives.
  • Manage contracts, vendor relationships, and budget planning for Salesforce-related activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

qualifications: Must-Haves:

8 or more years of professional experience in technical operations or project management.

4 or more years of hands-on technical experience within the Salesforce ecosystem.

2 or more years of direct supervisory experience, including proven performance management and team leadership skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act as a liaison between technical and business teams.

Nice-to-Haves:

Prior experience supporting nonprofit or advocacy-driven organizations.

Familiarity with enterprise grants management systems. Active Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, App Builder, Architect).
