Infrastructure Project Manager - Remote

Experteer Overview As an Infrastructure Project Manager for Optum Insight, you will guide the NY APD infrastructure modernization and operations, coordinating system, database, and vendor teams to ensure secure, scalable data platforms. You’ll collaborate with Health Department stakeholders and cross-functional groups to deliver reliable data repositories and enhancements. You will drive planning, governance, and performance reporting to support strategic program objectives. This role offers remote flexibility within the U.S. and a chance to shape large-scale healthcare data infrastructure. Compensation / Benefits * Lead planning, execution, and delivery of NY APD infrastructure initiatives (platform modernization, database optimization, capacity planning, security) * Coordinate daily activities of system and database administration teams to align with program goals and SLAs * Develop and monitor project plans with WBS, schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies * Utilize ServiceNow for Incident/Problem Management, RCA, corrective actions, and permanent solution implementations * Serve as primary liaison among technical teams, Optum Government Solutions, DOH stakeholders, and vendors * Lead infrastructure status reporting, governance dashboards, and executive presentations * Oversee infrastructure support for MPI/MPI, data enrichment/analytics platforms, data submitter onboarding, and public-facing portal infrastructure * Prepare executive-level reports and recommendations for governance committees and leadership * Support monthly operational reporting with SLA metrics and performance indicators * Ensure scalable, secure infrastructure aligned with future growth and modernization objectives Tasks * 5+ years IT Infrastructure Project Management experience, with hands-on background as Systems Engineer/DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer * 2+ years supporting Data Warehousing, BI, or Data Analytics * 2+ years managing cross-functional infrastructure, sysadmin, and DBA teams * 2+ years with enterprise infrastructure architecture, database platforms, cloud technologies, monitoring tools, and security best practices * 2+ years managing multiple concurrent projects with operational support duties * 1+ years of ServiceNow Incident and Problem Management * 1+ years of experience with healthcare data environments and HIPAA regulatory requirements Key requirements * comprehensive benefits package * incentive and recognition programs * equity stock purchase * 401k contribution * telecommuter policy
