Job description

Horizon Global Partners (HgP) is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure cloud-based web applications supporting a Federal Government customer. The successful candidate will develop modern applications using Python, FastAPI, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, Docker, and AWS cloud services while working within Agile and trunk-based development practices. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Python, FastAPI, ReactJS, and PostgreSQL.
  • Design and build RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
  • Develop responsive ReactJS user interfaces meeting Section 508 accessibility requirements.
  • Package applications using Docker and support deployments to AWS cloud environments.
  • Work with AWS EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPC services.
  • Participate in Agile sprint planning, code reviews, and trunk-based development workflows.
  • Write automated unit, integration, and regression tests using pytest, Jest, and React Testing Library.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, resolve defects, reduce technical debt, and maintain documentation.

Requirements

Clearance: Active Public Trust preferred; ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust required., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of professional full stack software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, FastAPI, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, Docker, and REST API development.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services and Git-based development.
  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies and automated testing.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
