Job description

SDA Solutions is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to support a mission-critical Department of Defense program in Arlington, Virginia. This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining secure enterprise applications across the full technology stack, including front-end interfaces, back-end services, APIs, and database technologies., Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack applications using modern development frameworks and technologies. Develop responsive front-end user interfaces and intuitive user experiences. Build and maintain back-end services, APIs, business logic, and database integrations. Design, develop, and optimize relational database architecture, queries, and data models. Develop software solutions using Java, JavaScript, Python, Spring Boot, and related technologies. Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, GitLab, and Bitbucket. Perform application troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution across development, testing, and production environments. Develop automated testing solutions and participate in peer code reviews to improve software quality and security. Support system monitoring, vulnerability remediation, patch management, logging, and compliance activities. Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, API documentation, operational procedures, and deployment guides. Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release management activities. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable enterprise solutions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable applications, supporting DevSecOps initiatives, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and working within Agile software development environments to deliver secure, high-quality solutions supporting DISA mission requirements., Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted for a degree. Active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph. Experience developing applications across the full software stack, including front-end, back-end, APIs, and relational databases. Experience developing with Java, JavaScript, Python, Spring Boot, HTML, CSS, and modern web technologies. Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, cloud technologies, DevSecOps, automated testing, or enterprise data integration. Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, CloudFormation, YAML, AWS services, or comparable technologies. Experience working in Agile software development environments. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams., Previous experience supporting DISA or other Department of Defense enterprise programs. Experience supporting secure cloud modernization initiatives and enterprise application modernization. Experience with DevSecOps methodologies and infrastructure automation. Experience developing technical documentation, operational procedures, and deployment guides. Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical enterprise environments.
