IT Engineer - Wire Payment Applications

• Direct the technical stability and production support of business-critical wire and electronic payment architectures.
• Architect and deploy secure API integrations between payment systems and fraud, AML, and general ledger platforms.
• Execute deep-dive root cause analysis (RCA) to implement permanent remediations for high-priority payment processing incidents.
• Orchestrate enterprise-scale application releases and production implementations following strict SDLC and change-management protocols.
• Design automated monitoring dashboards and observability alerts to ensure the high availability of 24x7 transaction services.
• Manage secure batch processing workflows and file-transfer synchronization using specialized encryption and key management.
• Implement technical modernization strategies for transitioning legacy payment messaging to ISO 20022 and cloud-native services.

• 5+ years of professional experience engineering and supporting enterprise wire payment platforms and transaction systems.
• Proficiency in SQL Server for developing complex stored procedures, database joins, and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, and XML for integrating payment channels with core banking systems.
• Experience in secure file transfer protocols including SFTP, PGP encryption, and technical certificate management.
• Experience with automated batch scheduling and workload orchestration utilizing Control-M or comparable enterprise tools.
• Experience with application performance monitoring, log analysis, and Git-based CI/CD pipelines in AWS or Azure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing vendor relationships and presenting technical remediations.
