Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you architect, configure and maintain Edifecs solutions for healthcare EDI. You will design maps and guidelines for 837, 834, 835, 820 and related transactions and ensure seamless system integration. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to implement Edifecs tools, support deployments, and troubleshoot transmissions in Edifecs Transaction Manager. The position combines technical leadership with hands-on development across Edifecs Healthcare 9.x, Groovy scripting, and modern integration patterns. You’ll be part of an Agile environment, driving quality through automation and CI/CD practices. Compensation / Benefits * Create maps and guidelines (xml, DFF, PFF) for Healthcare EDI transactions (e.g., 837, 834, 835, 820) * Design, develop, and implement Edifecs solutions; configure Edifecs tools (SpecBuilder, Map Builder, EAM) * Configure XEngine and TP-specific validation; monitor and troubleshoot Edifecs Transaction Manager transmissions * Lead Edifecs-based integration projects; explain technical solutions to stakeholders * Develop Groovy scripts; participate in software/hardware release and installation tasks * Work in an Agile, DevOps/Cloud environment; perform load testing and performance tuning * Integrate systems to databases and applications using middleware (e.g., SnapLogic); consume/provide SOAP or REST services * Collaborate with QA and other application teams; provide ongoing support and escalation as needed * Analyze problems, specify functional/non-functional requirements, and work across multiple programming frameworks * Maintain code using modern SDLC practices and ensure cloud deployability Tasks * 2+ years programming experience * Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, Swift or similar languages * Strong knowledge of Edifecs Healthcare 9.x suite and Healthcare payer systems * Understanding of EDI Healthcare transaction sets (270/271, 820, 834, 837 I/P/D, 835) * Ability to explain technical solutions to stakeholders * Experience with Edifecs configuration (XEngine, TP validation) and middleware like SnapLogic * Familiarity with SOAP/REST services and cloud/CI/CD concepts * Strong problem solving and communication skills * Bachelor in Computer and Information Science (or equivalent work experience) * Experience with Groovy scripting Key requirements * remote work * comprehensive benefits package * base salary range disclosed * opportunity for incentives * equal opportunity employer
