Experteer Overview In this role you lead the data center safety program across multiple sites, ensuring safe, reliable operations in mission-critical environments. You provide strategic guidance, hands-on support, and develop the program with a team of Safety Coordinators. You drive safety improvements using leading and lagging indicators while balancing uptime with robust risk controls. This is a chance to shape safety culture and deliver measurable impact in high-risk data center contexts. Compensation / Benefits * Design, implement, and continuously improve the data center safety program across sites * Define and execute annual safety strategy and KPIs with a focus on zero harm and contractor performance * Perform risk assessments, RAMS, and job hazard analyses for critical activities * Own the permit-to-work system, including LOTO, isolations, and change management in live environments * Conduct site inspections/audits, track actions, and report trends to leadership * Oversee incident/near-miss reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and preventive actions * Analyze safety data (TCIR/LTIFR/DART, near misses, audits) and develop dashboards for targeted improvements * Develop and deliver safety training for staff and contractors (electrical safety, LOTO, heights, confined spaces, manual handling, emergency response) * Coach teams to embed safe systems of work without impacting uptime * Lead safety committees, toolbox talks, and behavioral safety initiatives to build a safety culture * Prepare for audits by clients, corporate, and regulators and manage follow-up actions * Maintain knowledge of local safety laws and translate to practical site controls Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health or equivalent * Recognized health and safety qualification or certification (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma, CSP, CMIOSH/GradIOSH) * 4-7+ years in an HSE/safety management role with data centers or high-risk environments * Proven experience leading incident investigations, risk assessments, and site audits in contractor-heavy settings Key requirements * Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance * Paid Time Off (PTO) * 12 Paid Holidays * 6 Sick Days * 401(k) with company match * Occasional overtime and bonus opportunities
