Job description

An enterprise GenAI and cybersecurity team is hiring an AI Prompt Engineer in Dallas, Tx to support research into next-generation security testing. The team is developing AI-driven methods for examining software and infrastructure for vulnerabilities and uses leading-edge language models as part of its security research process., * Research new ways to use generative AI for cyber-defense and security-assessment activities

  • Build sophisticated prompt sequences capable of guiding a model through technical security tasks
  • Create contextual AI harnesses that retain the information necessary for multi-stage investigations
  • Develop use cases around software scanning, simulated penetration testing, and vulnerability identification
  • Apply AI models to infrastructure-oriented testing, including perimeter and port analysis
  • Explore techniques for recognizing security issues involving certificates and network access
  • Run prompting experiments against different frontier models and evaluate the quality of their output
  • Partner with data engineering to ensure model findings are collected in a usable format
  • Provide validated findings to threat-hunting teams for deeper investigation and remediation

Requirements

  • Strong record of building advanced prompt-based solutions with generative AI
  • Ability to demonstrate specific projects involving complex prompt design or AI orchestration
  • Meaningful professional or hands-on cybersecurity experience
  • Understanding of software vulnerabilities, malicious activity, attack paths, and network security
  • Coding ability in Python, Go, .NET, or another modern software-development language
  • Experience connecting AI workflows to databases or other supporting technical systems
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Cloud SQL, or similar data stores
  • Comfort learning new models, languages, and tooling as the technology evolves

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Application-security background
  • Familiarity with code scanning and dynamic application testing
  • Experience performing security research, vulnerability discovery, or penetration testing
  • Cloud engineering knowledge
  • Familiarity with container orchestration
  • Exposure to Kubernetes or GKE, Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
