Sentinel - Principal / Sr. Principal Systems Engineer - 18478

Experteer Overview In this role you will drive the Digital Thread design and MBSE for the Sentinel program, collaborating across Digital Thread IPTs to deliver secure, integrated engineering capability. You’ll guide use-case analysis, requirements definition, and verification across the system lifecycle, influencing architecture with Cameo and MBSE practices. You will work with cross-functional teams and government partners to mature Digital Engineering solutions for the SDS Division. This is a mission-driven opportunity to shape complex systems-of-systems in a high-stakes defense context. Compensation / Benefits * Collaborate with Digital Thread IPTs to produce rigorous systems engineering artifacts * Lead use-case development, requirements definition, allocation, traceability, and interface definition * Coordinate with test teams to ensure system checkout and verification * Perform user acceptance testing and gather stakeholder feedback * Develop system architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical) * Advance requirements development, management, and analysis; establish unified modeling techniques and processes * Develop and mature Digital Ecosystem design in collaboration with stakeholders * Ensure system requirements are properly represented in models and traceable throughout the lifecycle Tasks * Active DoD Secret security clearance (within 6 years) * Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 8 years of related experience (or 6 with Masters, or 4 with PhD) for Senior Principal; equivalent progression for Principal * 2+ years in complex information systems * 2+ years in SE process development/execution in a DoD TMRR or EMD phase * 2+ years on large/complex system development and major program events * 2+ years in agile or CI/CD environments * 2+ years creating/updating requirements in DOORS * 2+ years creating/updating MBSE products * Ability to obtain SAP clearance and Top Secret clearance * U.S. citizenship required Key requirements * Medical, Dental & Vision coverage * 401k * Educational Assistance * Life Insurance * Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions * Paid Time Off
