Job description
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright. * Develop scalable and reusable automation frameworks for web applications. * Execute functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end test cases. * Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define test strategies and acceptance criteria. * Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools. * Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. * Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues. * Create and maintain test plans, test cases, automation scripts, and quality documentation. * Generate test reports, quality metrics, and release readiness reports. * Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement. * Continuously improve automation frameworks, test coverage, and QA best practices.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, QA Automation, or Test Automation Engineering. * Hands-on experience with Playwright for UI and end-to-end automation testing. * Strong programming experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python. * Experience with API Testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools. * Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. * Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and QA best practices. * Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
