Experteer Overview In this role you will design and build a secure, cloud-native data platform to ingest and process vast security signals across Salesforce products and external environments. You will enable AI/ML-driven workflows for risk scoring, anomaly detection, and automated remediation, while upholding governance and security best practices. You’ll lead architecture, mentor engineers, and drive scalable, reliable data systems that support enterprise risk management and security strategy. This is a opportunity to shape Salesforce’s security data capabilities at scale, with strong collaboration across cross-functional teams. Compensation / Benefits * Design and architect a highly scalable, secure data platform ingesting data from 10+ Salesforce platforms and 15+ external environments * Build and optimize pipelines to collect, store, and analyze security signals from diverse sources * Integrate AI/ML and LLM capabilities (RAG, agentic workflows) with governance, evals, and latency considerations * Collaborate with Engineering, Security Operations, Risk Management, Product Security, and Data Science to align with business goals * Contribute to Agile development, code reviews, and mentoring across levels * Provide technical leadership in secure cloud-native architecture and development best practices * Mentor engineers, cultivate continuous learning and excellence * Champion AI-assisted development tools and safe usage patterns * Deliver new features to meet growing product demands * Adapt to changing requirements and advocate for secure practices across Salesforce Tasks * 2+ years in SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS software development * Distributed systems and data engineering expertise * Docker-based development with EKS * Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Puppet) * Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, SQL/NoSQL * Programming in Python, Golang, Java/Scala * API design (Swagger/OpenAPI) and Linux development * Security fundamentals (SSO/SAML/OAuth, TLS, PKI) * Experience integrating LLMs/ML into production (RAG, tool-use, evals, embeddings) * Fluency with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) * Excellent communication; multi-project management; collaborative mindset * Translate goals into technical architecture Key requirements * medical, dental, vision * mental health support * paid parental leave * life and disability insurance * 401(k) * employee stock purchase program
